expo full sun well tollerate in USDA zone 9  ,clay soil well tollerate  bark interesting ,but samaras are very beautiful!! my preferite maple samaras!slow growing in my zone about 20cm/year .Botanical note:for Flora of Cina is Acer miaotaiense ,for European botanist is one subsp.of miyabei
