Acer palmatum  Murasaki shikibu ( Japanese poet ) the bark is more interesting green and pink striped ,leaves burned in summer (in my region)
Murasaki Shikibu. She was a poetress in a time that writing poetry was just for men. It was only when she allready was famous, that she showed to the world, she actually was a woman. Causing a little shock to the Japanese literary world, but opening the world of poetry to women. A feminist avant la lettre.
